Our programme recognises the vital importance of this function and has been designed to give a broad understanding of marketing. At the same time, you acquire selling skills and techniques which are essential in order to be successful in this field. Communicating the right message to the right target market is key to sales and in our programme, we cover the basic communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

Programme outline
Module 1: Customer Relations Management (252193; 252210; 252203)

After a new customer has been acquired, she/he needs to be served well. Customer Relationship Management empowers you to manage all of your customer-related data and contacts.

Module 2: Ethics in Marketing (252216; 252217)

What is deemed ethical to one person might not be considered ethical to another – but how does one decide who is right? As the modern business environment continues to be plagued by challenges such as corruption, the subject of ethics becomes ever more important.

Module 3: Fundamentals of Marketing (252197; 252194; 252209; 252201)

In order to compete in an ever-changing market, business leaders must assess and respond to consumer needs and wants. Marketing is a means of creating value for consumers and engendering loyalty and enthusiasm for your product or service. Identifying and targeting your consumers is the single most important decision you can make. In this module, you will learn how to assess the value you provide to the consumer as well as the value the customer offers your business.

Module 4: Advertising and Sales Promotion (252202; 252206; 252211)

This module introduces the field of advertising management and teaches you the duties of an advertising manager, the advertising management cycle, advertising structures, and how to apply the principles of advertising management.

Module 5: Marketing Tools and Techniques (252204; 252195; 252191)

Marketing experts study data collection and analysis, consumer behavior, supply and demand and other technical aspects of marketing theory and implementation. Learn this discipline by using basic tools and techniques to help plan marketing activities before they execute them. Review your products, prices, brand and distribution to help create better advertising, public relations and promotions that build your business.

Module 6: Marketing Management (242819; 252200; 252213)

This module covers budgeting, monitoring success factors and evaluating brand health while tracking prices. You will also be able to monitor the activities of competitors as well as maintain and recognize brand and corporate materials. You will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while being able to maintain relationships. Learners will also be able to manage and monitor marketing activity plans and evaluate the completed activities.
