In Class

Who should participate?
This programme was developed to make sure that you pass the exam. If industry-wide only 20% of students succeed last year, our pass rate is between 60 and 80%. The course is designed for most of us. It is for those of us who wish we would be more disciplined, who are overwhelmed with the large amount of complex information to be digested for the exam, and for those who have not studied for a while.

Number of contact days: 7 full days in the classroom, one day of study per week, which reduces your study time at home.

What does it entail?
This option includes significantly more time in the classroom unpacking the meaning of the learning material in depth. The learning approach is interactive, which improves understanding and memorization. You receive a complete set of study material – a manual, study guide, mind maps, highlighters and note book.
You will also have unlimited access to our online exam with over 400 questions that will prepare you for the actual exam and allow you to test your level of understanding as you progress. As your facilitator will have access to your results, you can get help as and when you need it.

Tutorial

Who should participate?
This programme is meant for you if you are confident in your own study abilities but still want some support. You will benefit from meeting your lecturer regularly which will help you stay on schedule and allows you to clarify possible questions.

Contact Time: 7 weekly sessions each lasting for two hours, which should fit in the schedule of even the busy professional.

What does it entail?
The content is broken up into manageable units. Each coaching session outlines what needs to be studied during the week. You gain unlimited access to our online exam with pre and post tests for each chapter. Not only does this hone your multiple choice testing skills, but it also allows you to track your own progress. You receive a complete set of study material – a manual, study guide, mind maps, highlighters and note book.

Who should participate?
This option suits you if you are highly disciplined, enjoy working on your own, have a good grasp of the financial industry and a strong academic track record. It is optimal for those in remote areas, if you cannot take time off from work and are cost conscious.

Power Session
|
Who should participate?
It is for the participants of the self-study programme who would like to have a review session before taking the exam
|

Contact Time: 1 day
|
|
|
What does it entail?
In the power session, you will take a paper based test, simulating the actual examination. The workshop will revisit some of the most common questions asked in the exam and how to use a process of elimination to find the likely answer. Spending that day in class is time well spent as it will significantly increase your chances of success.
